SendGrid handles email delivery for most of my automation projects, transactional confirmations, drip sequences, monthly market updates, and document request follow-ups. It's reliable at volume and has the deliverability infrastructure that matters when emails actually need to be read.
SendGrid's transactional email API and marketing campaigns work together well. I use the API for automated transactional emails (onboarding confirmations, document requests, status updates) and the marketing email layer for bulk sends like market updates and re-engagement campaigns. For real estate clients sending personalized market reports to 1,000+ contacts, SendGrid handles the delivery infrastructure while n8n handles the personalization logic. For healthcare, I use it for general (non-PHI) communications and route PHI-containing messages through HIPAA-compliant channels.
